4980 BIOS har ett fel-4981 kommer snart.

Läste på xboxscene.com att många får ett fel,Error 13.
Detta skrevs den 13 Januari så det nya 4981 borde vara ute idag.

It effects box's that boot from the ms dash first.
The bios is looking for msxboxdash.xbe - a stupid ass typo
You can boot from DVDR no problem and FTP to the box to install any dash (or even temporary rename your xboxdash.xbe to msxboxdash.xbe) - and then everything will work

also a couple more changes in the dash boot order process:
1. avalaunch.xbe
2. evoxdash.xbe
3. mxmdash.xbe
4. unleashx.xbe
5. xboxdash.xbe

Såg det oxå men jag har kört 4980 sen det kom & jag har aldrig stött på nått sånt... Men alla har vi olika boxar... :)

Vi har sett det flera gånger, men eftersom vi alltid installerar evoxdash.xbe så trodde jag bara dom hade tagit bort den helt onödiga xboxdash.xbe från listan över xbe-filer den försöker starta och istället gett plats för något nytt filnamn :-)

Det hade varit enkelt att fixa själv om bara xbtool hade släppts för 4980...men inatt såg jag på irc när killen som gör xbtool skrev att han fått info om att 4981 skulle släppas så han väntar med att uppdatera xbtool :-)

Såg detta:
there is now an unofficial release of 4981 up in the same place you get your other x2 bioses
boot order fixed and ava bumped up in the list, as well as renamed (for the avalaunch people complaining about having to rename avalaunch.xbe to avadash.xbe to get 4980 to work)
1. avalaunch.xbe
2. evoxdash.xbe
3. mxmdash.xbe
4. nexgen.xbe
5. xboxdash.xbe
no more error 13 and you still get your xbox live disable features from 4980
