Hej jag undrar om man kan få att freestyle dash sätts i gång direkt när man startar upp xboxet. Jag har ett xbox 360 slim 4 gb med rgh jtag. Jag har xexmeny installerat på en extern hårddisk och startar fresstyle därifrån, det blir lite krångligt för dem andra i familjen att sätta på xboxet:) så jag tänkte underlätta för dem.
dashlaunch finns förinstallerat på konsollen om du fått den fixad av oss, alternativt om du kört med mitt program, isåfall tar du bara launch.ini och ändrar default till där du lagrar FSD :)Citat:

kör dashlaunch installern så ser du, annars kan du kolla i FLASH via XEXMenu, om något annat än vanliga dashboarden startar är Dashlaunch installerat :)Citat:

hihi f-n jag fattar nog inte riktigt, är kanske dum:) men när jag kör installer från den externa disken så säger den att den att dashlaunch är installerad, och den säger att launch.ini filen hittas. launch.ini filen ligger i roten på min externa. men var ändrar jag till default någonstans, hittar inte det. Eller eär det dem där frågorna som dyker upp när man kör installer, jag är så dålig på engelska:(. Men nu ser jag i en annan tråd att det finns setting till launch.ini men var hittar jag den?

Tänk på att dash launch prioriterar launch.ini filerna i en viss ordning ifall du har flera st (t.ex en på interna disken, en på USB-disk). Minns inte exakt vilken ordning det är men har för mig att den på USB-disken har högst prioritet. Personligen har jag bara en på min interna disk, tycker det är minst krångel så.
Du ser i sample_launch.ini (den följer med i zipfilen när du laddar ner dash launch) hur du ska konfigurera din launch.ini. I samplen står det
Default = Usb:\Freestyle\FreestyleDash.xex
så detta innebär att den startar xex-filen FreestyleDash.xex i mappen Freestyle på ditt usb-minne. Editera denna raden så att den matchar dina behov, personligen rekommenderar jag att man kör FSD från sin interna disk om man har en sådan, så att man får igång FSD även om man inte skulle ha sin USB-disk ansluten för tillfället. Då skulle det kunna se ut såhär:
Default = Hdd:\FSD2\Default.xex
eller något liknande.
Prioritetsordning skall vara:
1. USB
2. HDD
3. BB MU
4. FLASH

På din externa HDD, är den inkopplad genom USB? Isåfall öppna upp filen launch.ini i en text-redigerare på datorn och lägg till följande rad:

Så ser det ut nu på launch.ini filen. är det rätt? vad gör jag sen?
Onödigt lång men ja den kommer funka. Nu sparar du den filen och låter den ligga kvar på Usb-hårddisken som "launch.ini".
Koppla sen in den i Xboxet och starta xboxet.
ja men sen när jag startar vad gör jag då, försöker hålla in mitten knappen sen y och sen a men det fungerar inte.
eftersom default är satt till "Default = Usb:\Freestyle\FreestyleDash.xex" så ska du inte hålla in något alls.
Ser att du har två olika sökvägar till FreestyleDash's xex-fil.. Om du går in i mappen "Freestyle" vad heter .xex-filen som ligger där i? "Default.xex" eller "FreestyleDash.xex"?
Edit: Testa att inte hålla inne något knapp alls överhuvudtaget. Koppla in genom USB och starta och rör inte handkontrollen tills den startat.

Då måste du ändra Default i launch.ini till "Default = Usb:\Freestyle\default.xex"
har stoppat in usb i xboxet,startar och kommer till den vanliga
Men man kanske bara kan starta fsd från skiva istället
Starta det från skiva? Det låter väldigt klumpigt och onödigt..
Har du hårddisk på maskinen? Eller bara USB-Disk?

Nu när jag kör installer så säger den att den hittar launch.ini på usb roten och i flash, det kanske är det som är problemet att launch.ini finns på två ställen. men jag kan inte gå in i flash och ta bort den.vad ska jag göra????
nä. Som jag sa så prioriteras launch.ini på usbn högst, så det ska inte vara något problem. Den ignorerar helt enkelt den på nanden när den ser att det finns en på usb.Citat:

Det jag tror är att du har gjort nåt fel i sökvägen. Står det usb:\freestyle\default.xex så måste du ha en fil som heter default.xex (som är fsd2) som ligger i en mapp med namnet freestyle i roten på ditt usb-minne. Stämmer inte allt detta till punkt och pricka så kommer inte dashlaunch att hitta fsd2.
På min usb heter Mappen FSD2.ORc2,1 och i den ligger det default.xex. Men när man kör installer så frågar den en massa ja och nej frågor, har det nåt med hur man svarar där??

Antingen döper du om mappen till det som står i launch.ini, eller så ändrar du i launch.ini så att den pekar på rätt mapp.
Ja/nej frågorna styr mestadels andra grejor än hur maskinen autobootar, så nä det ska inte påverka.
