Förr i tiden kunde man lägga över filerna från en DVD till hd:n och sedan spela direkt därifrån. Härom dagen testade jag detta med Brute Force och spelet startade inte. Spelet kom upp som vanligt utder games men när jag försökte att starta det kom jag tillbaka till Evox-dashboard.
Är detta beroende på ett kopieringsskydd? Finns det program som tar sådana?
Hur skall jag göra?
jag har kollat runt lite för jag hade samma problem med star wars: kotor.
Bypassing the Media Check in Newer Games
This tutorial is a little late, but there have been many questions on how to go about doing this. I will explain how to manually patch newer games to allow them to run off your xbox HDD, or any other dvd media. Patching isuniversal amongst all games created around February 2003.
Just wanted to also say that you can get a patcher called "isocraxton" to auto-patch games for you. It is the only patching program that I would even consider using, as I have had many trouble with other patchers.
With that said, lets get started. Obtain the xbox executable (default.xbe) file of the game you want to patch. If you don't have one already, download a Hex Editor such as Hackman 7.0 and start it up.
Open up the executable file and search for this string:
744BE8CAFDFFFF85C07D0633C050
After you find it, replace the 7D with an EB so it looks like this:
744BE8CAFDFFFF85C0EB0633C050
Then just save the default.xbe file and your game will be patched. If you do not find that string, then search for this one:
E8CAFDFFFF85C07D
Detta borde funka tror jag.
Jag hade ett liknande problem med NHL 2004, det enda som kom upp var Loading. Mitt problem var att Enighma videomode (eller vad det heter) var inställt på NTSC och inte PAL. När jag ändrade det till PAL så fungerade det utan problem.
Men var hittar man alla dom sakerna som han förklarar?! Patcharna o iso.exe filen?
okej såhär ska du göra:
ftp:a över spelets default.xbe till din dator. ladda ner hackman 7.0 och starta programet. sen tar du find string och kopierar in 744BE8CAFDFFFF85C07D0633C050 och söker. om du hittar den så klickar du på 7D och byter till EB och sparar. sen lägger du över den till xboxet och ersätter den gamla.
obs! kom ihåg att säkerhetskopiera default.xbe ifall det inte funkar..
