Backup Manager Modified for Hermes’ PSGroove Payload
Posted by greg
Told you it would happen real soon… A modified version of Backup Manager that no longer requires a disc in the drive. You’ll need to be running PSGroove with Hermes’ modified payload to make use of it. That’s it, that’s all. Thanks to Mr. Anonymous for the hack!
Update: Thanks to this guy here — here is Hermes’ fork of PSGroove (hex) compiled for just about every board: AT90USBKey, AT90USBKey2, Benito, BlackcatUSB, Maximus AVR USB, Olimex, Teensy++ 1.0, Teensy++ 2.0, Teensy 1.0, Teensy 2.0, USBKEY 16Mhz, USBKEY 8Mhz, and Xplain.
Update: Many are reporting problems with Backup Manager 2 and whatever hex file with whatever board (TI-84+ too). Black screens and whatnot. Some games seem to boot, some don’t. Until everything stabilizes you may want to consider sticking (or flashing back) to the original method, where a disc is required.
