Vill bara tipsa om ett lovande .elf-project, MyPS2:

"It is a multi-purpose browser, picture viewer for the ps2. MyPS2 allows you to view thumbnails of pictures contained on cd/dvd and HDD. It also has an extremely attractive GUI (windows media center eat your heart out!). There are some bugs everyone should be aware of and he asks for NTSC users to give the tool a good check on their console."

" - added ELF loader for running ELFs from MC,HDD,CD or USB
- browse pictures from USB
- copy files from/to USB
- added a config file (mc0:/SYS-CONF/MYPS2/CONFIG.INI) to adjust horiztonal and vertical screen offset

I also added a small installation dialog that will help you to setup a partition when the program detects that there is no myPS2 partition on your HDD."

MyPS2 v.03 är uppe nu:

" - Added thumbnail HDD caching which makes the image browser
alot faster if you have a harddisk

Nu är v.04 ute:

"New features in version 0.4:

- Added MP3 player that plays MP3s and M3U playlists from CD, HDD
or USB
- Added poweroff button in options menu (Bixente)
- Can now take screenshots with SELECT

The MP3 playback is done in its own thread. This means you can still
navigate the menu/browse pictures etc. while listening to music. I think
there are still some issues with this though so if you find any bugs
please let me know. I have only tested it on my PAL console.

Jag kan inte få FTP-funktionen att fungera. Kör annars uLaunch-ELF med FTP utan problem. Kör då PS2:an på 192.168.0.10 via min router med DHCP som har 192.168.0.1 så den ska väl vara gateway? Har liknande problem (d v s fungerar inte) med PS2Reality's nätverksfunktion...

MyPS2 är uppe i version 1.0 nu äntligen!

"The GUI has been completely rewritten for this version and now features a flexible
skinning system. It allows you to change pretty much anything. Translating
myPS2 should now also be alot easier since you no longer have to mess around
with the source code. Check out the help files in the docs directory to see
how skinning and translating works.

Apart from source code changes there are also some new features. The menu
navigation has been improved and you can now access other HDD partitions.
Also a couple of bugs have been fixed and myPS2 should now work on PS2s
that don't have a HDD. Checkout the Readme.html for a more complete list
of changes."

jag gjorde en översätningsfil, så ni som vill köra myps2 på svenska tanka denna o lägg i language mappen, i programet välj filen.

det har med att fixa in en hdd i min ps2 har alla hårdvaror som behövs och mjukvaror men det verkar som mitt chip inte vill boota programvaror som finns på skiva =(

Verkar som om det i nuläget är buggigt att köra v1.0 ifrån HD. Jag får det bara att fungera ifrån MC. Förhoppningsvis kommer en patch eller v1.1 snart...

Har gjort en ny översättningsfil där jag ersatt å ä ö med a a o.
Har som sagt inte tästat den själv, men har nån strul med gammla filen så prova nya.
jag editerade länken i mitt första post. alltså V2 är den nya.

Tack TPsys! Är det du som gjort översättningen som finns på myPS2-siten också?

Är det bara jag eller går det inte att browsa filer över nätverket med myPS2 ännu? Får inte FTP-funktionen att fungera riktigt. Jag kör PS2-client på PC-sidan, ska jag köra något annat?

OK. Har hittat info om hur man installerar myPS2v1.0 på HD, såhär:

" If you want to install the program to your HDD you must add two entries
to the CONFIG.DAT file:

hdd_boot_part = hdd0:PARTITION
hdd_boot_path = /PROGRAMS/MYPS2/

hdd_boot_part is the name of the partition you have myPS2 installed on.
hdd_boot_path is the path of the directory you have myPS2 installed in."

"Be sure to follow the syntax the config.dat file was already using. It should end with a square, then paste the first line of code, then paste a square, then the second line, and end it with another square. I think the squares are just page breaks, but just copy and paste. Another thing I did was copy and paste the gaps between the code and the equals sign, just in case it was sensitive.
But works beautifully."

.. sen så förstår ja inte riktigt vad detta är för något? ett samlingsprogram för allt som gjorts till ps2 eller? sen så undrar jag om det går att ladda det från mc trots att man inte har dms chippet? för min laser är nämligen pajj
