Hi GaryOPA,
I found some troubles updating my Hitachi 47DJ drive with your 1.3 firmware package. I tried to flash from a no modified unit. This is the output for my first attemp:

The FLASH.BAT program detected 1.3 firmware was already flashed and skips flashing. This was wrong since my unit has no modifications.
After looking into FLASH.BAT code I found the problem was in 'fc /b .bin .bin' command. From my tests fc is always returning an errorlevel 0, no matter if differences found. If 'fc' command syntax is wront, then errorlevel is -1. That's the problem for what flashing phase is always skipped.
I ran FLASH.BAT from a DOS command in a Windows 2000 Proffesional OS.
After that, y replaced 'fc /b' commands for 'cmp.exe' command from diffutils http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/diffutils.htm (bin and dep packages). I put cmp.exe from diffutils-2.8.7-1-bin.zip package and libiconv2.dll, libintl3.dll from diffutils-2.8.7-1-dep.zip in X-LG directory. cmp.exe command acts as 'fc /b' command was intended to do.
Running a modified FLASH.BAT to suppor cmp.exe produces this output (the right output!):

E:\XBOX360\X-LG>flash.bat h 6666

I recomment you to use 'cmp.exe' instead of 'fc /b' in future versions.

Thanks for the update, I will look into that.
The problem you found with "fc /b" is only on older Windows systems, before Windows 'XP like yours with
2000. But also new problems are found on systems running Windows 64-bit.
