Pictures have surfaced of the forthcoming chip for D2C. It shows an Actel IC and what appears to be a 30 wire install.

We have received a tip that a European online retailer is to commence selling the first and only mod chip for the previously 'unhackable' D2C chipset Wii. It will reportedly go on sale in 10 days time but there is a huge catch, it requires a 30 WIRE installation. The features it boasts are as follows: Actel IC, Direct boot Wii & GC games, Multi Disk support, GC audio streaming fix and patrial region patch for GC and Wii games. The suggested retail price will be 37 Euro's."

Kan ingen göra en klon på D2B chippet istället, går ju enklare att byta hela ic:n än en sådan här monsterchippning :-)

Men det är lugnt, det är fortfarande en bit kvar tills det börjar likna våra gamla ps2 chippningar med neo4+origachip med 54 kablar...

D2B har blivit dumpad. Det snackas om att det går att byta ett D2C chip mot ett D2B chip.
Och det är nog vad det här chippet gör. Lär ju säkerligen ligga D2b programvara på chippet och alla dessa kablar kopplar förbi d2c chippet.
