- Check that you've a Genuine Wiinja Deluxe from a Official Reseller , several people resells or install different stuff like Original Wiinja Deluxe when they really have installed a different stuff installed at your wii .. , Wiinja V1 & V2 are not upgradeable,this upgrade is not working over them ,any other homebrew mod or customized clones like WIID (yes,WIID is a customized WDeluxe clone from DVN guys) is not going to work with this Upgrade
- You dont need to install a early upgrade .. and if your Wiinja Deluxe is upgraded to any version just make the upgrade process and overwrite the version over it
- Burn Upgrade 4 ISO using a confirmed DVD Media for your backups , Select DVD and Finalize Options.
Some Burners are problematic with the Upgrade ISO,you can try to use a small trick ... Grab some confirmed and used DVD-RW which you've used to burn a working Wii/gamecube game , Select Upgrade 4 iso , change CD to DVD and DO NOT finalize it (the disc has been finalized at the old burned game)
- Go to DISC CHANNEL , insert the upgrade disc and wait for REBOOT to Wii Menu (if the pin3 is soldered to RESET) or for DISC NOT RECOGNIZED (if pin3 is not soldered to RESET)
- Now , go to DISC CHANNEL and insert your SMG Backup , the game will prompt for a Upgrade, be sure your Wii Firmware is up to date to the lastest Internet Upgrade version so you avoid any bricking issue, this upgrade is going to duplicate the NEWS & WEATHER CHANNELS if your wii console is not same as the Region of the backup ,after the DVD Upgrade installing you will be able to see the SMG game icon at the WII MENU & DISC CHANNEL
