Finns tydligen en möjlighet att patcha wave 3 så att den funkar med iXtreme 1.4/1.5 och då undrar jag om någon vet om det är säkert?

Here is how its done:

1. Start XDVDMulleter

2. View ISO Details

3. Choose a Wave 2 Game ISO to extract the (PFI) and (Video Partition)

4. Extract PFI and save it to hard disk.

5. Extract Video Partition File and save it to hard disk

6. View ISO Details with Wave 3 ISO - Select [No] When Asked to try and repair unknown video section.

7. Select (insert video) Under the Video Tab - Select [No] When asked Auto Insert Video.

8. Insert the Wave 2 Video Partition that you saved to your hard disk.

9. Extract DMI under the stealth tab to the same place as PFI and Video Partition.

10. Reboot mulleter and choose Build/Rebuild an ISO

11. Load the Wave 3 image and click Next

12. Choose Create a cloned DVD9 ISO und click next

13. Choose Load from source ISO und click next

14. Now choose Load from files and load the (PFI), and (DMI) files you just extracted

15. Click on Make ISO and save it.

16. Under (Other) Tab Select (Make .dvd File) and Save

17. Burn the ISO with the DVD file

*Note*

Even though the image will pass Stealth Checks, I would not
recommend playing on Xbox Live, because it has a modified
video partition and might red flag your account.

as I mentioned I don't use XBL and really don't want to flash my
DVD rom at this moment.. I'm gonna wait till all the smoke has
cleared before flashing, now that MS knows this will spoof the
firmware mods, they might change the video partition more often.

anyway use this technique at your own risk, I can verify that it works
100% on ix1.5 (Not tested on live) for current wave 3 titles as of 3-4-09.

Jag skulle tippa på att den inte är speciellt säker då xboxen kanske får info från live att den ska ha wave 3 men inte har det...

bättre att helt enkelt flasha om din 360 till 1.51

betydligt mycket lättare också, (enligt mitt tycke iaf) men jag kan o andra sidan en hel del om flashning nu när jag jobbat med det ett tag

1.51 är inte livesäkrare än vad man själv är tvungen att kontrollera ISO filer fröst i Nyaste AGBX innan man bränner ut spelen!

1.50 och 1.40 är betydligt säkrare i den synpunkten, men detta har vi skrivit om innan

Spelar det någon roll :d
Rykten säger att boxen skickar info i Statistiskt syfte.
Så spelar man inte online men sedan kopplar in kabel skickas info.
