We have passed the new updated design for the current Xecuter modchip to the dealers of that particular project. This new mod will work on BOTH v1 and v1.1 models at the same time and there will be a solder free / wire free design along with a cheaper design similar to the current 1 wire mod.
We have spent the last 2 months consumed with the design of a completely legal and programmable device that has more features and stability than the current offerings. We have not rushed into this (as there has been no need) basically to see what mistakes others had made and to see where we could improve. We are happy to announce that the prototype has been finished and the final design is only days away. Of course this is 100% our own design (both hardware and software) not the work of someone else so you can be sure to receive the best updates and support. You can also be sure that the device will be excellent value for money, we expect around the $45 mark - much cheaper than the less quality more expensive offerings. I'd like to point out that there will be no cracked/ripped versions of Xecuter2 Kernel appearing on usenet - we will release it for free as and when our hardware designs are finished. This time we'll try not to die by the sword hey Numbnut <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> (Great work tho guys!) - It was mentioned that the timing was suggestive, well yes but we had a big head start on this and progressed greatly 2 weeks ago, but didn't really want to announce anything until hardware changes were implemented. Xbox-linux's announcement kinda forced us to say something, but at least everyone's happy now"
De kommer med andra ord snart släppa ett annat lödfritt modchip som skall varea billigare å bättre än Xodus när som . . .
