We finally received our first v1.1 box 3 days ago and can now bring you all a BIOS including all previous hacks of Evox BIOS 2.4 and a few new.
The BIOS has been succesfully tested on The Matrix Modchip in a new v1.1 box.

Included in this release:

EvolutionX BIOS version 2.6 (For old version 1.0 boxes)
EvolutionX BIOS version 3.6 (For new version 1.1 boxes)

Both BIOS versions are 256K images and can be used with your Matrix modchip or Cheapmod/Homebrew whatever.
Also in this release is bios versions with eject fix for those who prefer that (Superfro)
Use Make1024.bat to make 1M images if you need it.

New Features:

1) Looks for Evoxdash.xbe before Xboxdash.xbe (for Xbox live compatibility)

2) If M$ dashboard is called from Evox, it will no longer reset when eject is pressed.

EvolutionX main feature list:

- FTP Server; connect with a standard ftp client from your PC, and copy files to / from your XBOX as you like.
- Telnet Server; Telnet to your xbox
- Copy games and applications directly to the XBOX Harddisk and run them from there.
- Create backups of all your original games.
- Integrated configurable menu system, to launch all your favorite games and applications on HD
- Flash the BIOS on the XBOX console, for easy bios upgrades.
- Replace the original M$ dashbord, or run from a cd/dvd
- Easy network setup, set static IP for your XBOX or use DHCP server.
- Upgrade your harddisk, format/partition easily from EvolutionX, and take advantage of cheap 80G+ harddisks instead of the original 8G

EvolutionX will run on all modded boxes, but in order to use all features the EvolutionX BIOS have to be used.

EvolutionX bug fixes:

Fix crash when using backup function on v1.1 boxes

FTP Speed improvement:
You will only notice an improvement on some combinations of HDD and XBox.
If you are already getting 5000K/s uploading to XBOX, don't expect more.

FTP Filename check:
Transferring files with FATX incompatible file names will now produce an error

FTP CWD command fixed.

SNTP : Now it can run with @NetClock Server

Skin Image Quality improved with 640x480 images (no more stretching)




EvolutionX new features:

In Game Reset:
We bring you In Game Reset with the RemoteX dashboard (no need to upgrade your bios for this function)
IGR is availale in 3 modes (Select from Settings Menu):
FTP IGR -&gt; When you launch from FTP Client e.g. execute f:\mame\deafult.xbe
RDTools IGR -&gt; When you launch from VC++
MISC IGR -&gt; IGR when launching normally
If you want IGR in original games you have to use the Launch DVD function from RemoteX or enable Auto Launch Game and insert the DVD when you are in RemoteX dashboard.

Telnet Server:
A very limited (so far) telnet server.
Functions available are:
PCIDUMP, IODUMP, MEMDUMP, CDSECTORDUMP, HDDSECTORDUMP, O, DIR, QUIT, EXIT

Date Swap:
Swap dd/mm/yyyy -&gt; mm/dd/yyyy

AutoSize bios file:
Evox will now automatically autosize the bios image to fit the flash type e.g.
256 -&gt; 512 ; 256 -&gt; 1024 ; 512 -&gt; 1024

om man flashar in någon av dem i en 1.0 box ropar den efter evoxdash.xbe efter flashning?

byter man namn via boxplorer på xbe filerna?

Jag kör ejectfix om jag flashar d.6, annars brukar jag flasha x-ecuter 2 4974.

Alla dessa kör evoxdash.xbe om den finns.

Boxplorer eller xboxcommander går att använda för att flytta/döpa filer. Ännu enklare är att använda FTP.
