Angående Font-hacket i orginaldashboarden

Snart kommer någon hackare att göra så att man kan flasha om biosen på en omoddad xbox genom att greja i fonterna.

Då borde det väl vara möjligt för någon med moddat xbox att göra om fonterna och sen sätta in hårdisken på en omoddad xbox och flasha om den från orginaldashboarden???

Har jag rätt och isåfall skulle väl vem som helst kunna flasha om ett xbox bara man har en hårdisk med rätt font?

det kommer ALLDRIG att bli möjligt att flasha TSOP med detta hack.

det ger dig helt enkelt inte fysisk tillgång till bioset.

tror inte helle detta kommer bli en verklig konkurent till Modchippen.

det är för krångligt.

dom enda som kommer att använda sig av denna metod är antaglig folk som redan har aft en chippad box i något år
och bara vill testa för det är kul.

har du ett Chip så funkar ALLT, + det är mycket lätt att uppgradera bioset med nya funktioner. inga somhäst krongel.

Det enda som krävs är egentligen ett hack som gör att biosimagen i ram byts ut mot valfritt bios, då blir denna lösning praktiskt taget lika användbar som ett chip.

Det enda krångliga blir väl om man skall byta hårddisk, isåfall måste man använda en redan moddad xbox för att "preppa" den nya hårddisken.

Och gör man minsta lilla misstag så att boxen inte kan boota från sin hårddisk så blir det givetvis stora problem.

1. Open xbox and solder write enabled jumpers...there are 2 one on top of motherboard
and one underneath(see article: http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/tsop.php)

3. Make sure your PC is on a 192.168.0.* subnet

2. Use a modded xbox with Evox or Mega-Key to copy the save to the memory card

3. boot unmodded xbox to dashboard...copy the save to the HDD

4. Load 007 and load the savegame from HDD

5. open dos prompt type :telnet 192.168.0.64

6. username: root

7. password: xbox

8. type cd ../../media/E/UDATA/4541000d/000000000000/raincoat

9. type ./raincoat -p xbox.bin

10. finished

Nu är du lite fel ute detta är INTE 007 hgacket vi pratar om utan mjukvaruhack, du behöver altså INTE öppna din box för att köra Linux/Unsign code

Det där är gammalt, sedan några veckor tillbaka använder vi samma 007-trick för att boota evo-x dashboard istället när vi flashar, så slipper vi telnetta och greja :-)

här är en guide.

Det du behöver är:

Xbox v1:
XBOX Retail Dashboard 4920 (uppdatera med live spel för få 4920)
XBOX Kernel 4034

megaX memory card
007
+ lite filer

I've seen this exploit come up the last day or so and I've been fooling around with it and everything, there was really no clean cut tutorial out there with everything you need to know, lots of people were asking for it. If you don't need it then ignore this and don't flame

I'm going to guide you guys through a simple tutorial on how to play backups on your xbox with no modchip, using the new 007 hack/free-x exploit

(i will explain w/ 007, but it is indeed possible w/ mechassualt too)

-I HIGHLY reccomend updating your dash w/ xbox live before you try the exploit.

- you will need to first obtain a great file called "007aufsavewithEvoxInstaller", you can put this on your megaX memory card, or what i suggest have a friend FTP it to his MODDED xbox under E:/TDATA and E:/UDATA , i just ftp'd the 007 hacked save file to both and it worked fine, but im sure only one is needed. Next using the origianal MS Dashboard you can place the 007 hacked file onto a memory card. Once that is done, place the memory card in the unmodded xbox

-next you obviously need the Original 007:Agent Under Fire game, you load a mission and select the xbox hard drive to get the save game file from. (if u did the previously steps correctly the screen should flicker and then the "evox dashboard will appear"

-now you can ftp into you xbox and apply the free-x exploit it's self. You can connect the xbox to your router, or use a crossover cable and connect it directly to your pc's nic.
Get the ip address under system utils>settings, and then ftp in.

-You should see letters of the drives when you ftp in, first of all lets do the free-x hack. First you need to get the Free-x exploit file, which you can get here here

in there there is a bert and ernie file, just extract those onto your pc

-now go back to your ftp client and click on the C:/ drive, now you'll see a C:/fonts folder, change that folder to fonts.old just for backup, now go back into the C:/ folder and make a new folder called "fonts", now ftp the bert and ernie file into the font folder that you just created.

damn is this easy or what.

-now for the last thing, you must obtain the
LOADER.v1.00-FX.XBOX-COMPLEX file, extract it onto your pc.

-now go back into your ftp, and under C:/ you will transfer via ftp the default.xbe (DO NOT RENAME) and the "!loader" folder, make sure you transfer both of them.

Now restart your xbox without the 007 game in the drive and it should boot to the Complex loader screen
press the white button to load the games

I hope this tutorial has helped you, it really is a simple exploit, but all the info for the newbs might be a little overwhelming. Please post if this tutorial assisted you in any way, thx
